An excellent turn out of 66 adults and 35 juniors made a great event

Tom Kelly won round two of the Manx Mountain Bike Club's Winter XC Series in a muddy encounter at Archallagan Plantation on Sunday.

Kelly powered his way round to win by an impressive 7 minutes from Russ Moore with Alun Garton third.

Elliot Baxter, who finished third in this year's End-2-End Challenge, recorded the fastest average lap.

Meanwhile, Nick Corlett won the junior class by over one and a half minutes from Ross Stewart.

Leon Mazzone snatched third by under a second from Jamie Dudley. The third round of the series is on Sunday, 6 December at South Barrule Trails.
