Bacchas A closed the gap on Valkyrs A and Vikings A at the top of the Isle of Man Men's Premier League to a solitary point with victory on Saturday.

Hat-tricks from Karl Moore and Richard Le Page helped the Cronkbourne side to a comprehensive 7-0 victory over fourth-placed Castletown.

Meanwhile Vikings B defeated bottom side Valkyrs B 2-0.

Second-half strikes from Ken Carney and Adam Fretwell fired Vikings up to sixth in the table.

No matches were played in the Women's Premier League, so Vikings still hold a healthy six-point lead over Valkyrs A.
