Poor conditions are expected for the National League Three game at St Peter. |
Jersey rugby club face Hertford at St Peter on Saturday in their latest National League Three clash. The Island side are nine points clear at the top of the table while Hertford are fourth, 16 points behind. Head coach Ben Harvey said: "We had two very tough games against them last season, so we don't expect anything other than a tough game. Strong winds and rain are forecast for the game and Harvey said he would alter his side's tactics where necessary. "The weather plays a huge factor, it makes running more difficult, the ball tends to skid a stop in muddy areas, so you have to plan accordingly." Jersey's seconds play Hertford seconds in a friendly match from midday, with the main game starting at 14:15 GMT.
