Delaney coached the Barbarians to success in April
Nottingham director of rugby Glenn Delaney hopes moving Saturday's game against Exeter to Welford Road will give his players a day out to remember.
He told BBC Radio Nottingham: "Playing at Leicester's ground will be a great experience. It's a fantastic venue with a standing terrace.
"We've laid on buses for fans to make it easy to get there from Nottingham.
"Hopefully, we'll also encourage people from Leicester to come along and see what we've been doing."
But Delaney, who has been invited to coach the Barbarians against the Combined Services this month, has selection problems.
"Injuries have made things pretty difficult," Delaney said. "And we're trying to pull a team together for this week out of who's left fit to play. But we'll have a decent side."
To add to his woes, the Leicester Tigers have recalled a number of dual registration players.
Delaney explained: "The relationship we have with Leicester is excellent and it works both ways, although we get the lion's share of the traffic. It's just this weekend the recalls cause us problems.
"So there will be a couple of new faces in the squad this week. It gives players like Dave Marshall, who came through our academy system, an opportunity."
But Delaney is aware of the task ahead of him as he draws up a side to face the Championship leaders. "When you're playing sides at the top of the league you have to raise your performance," he said.
"Exeter are the most efficient side in the league. They have a big squad and commit resources to bringing that squad together.
"You've always got to be upbeat. We've suffered player losses in the past and people thought we wouldn't recover but we survived."
