Vagabonds were thrashed 50-10 at high-flying Ormskirk in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One on Saturday. The Manx side trailed by just two points at half-time, as tries from Arno Cruywagen and Mark Alix left the game delicately poised at 12-10. But Ormskirk subjected Vagabonds to a barrage of pressure in the second half scoring 38 unanswered points. In Division Two, Douglas moved third following their 25-16 win over Crewe & Nantwich at Port-e-Chee Meadow. Meanwhile, Ramsey moved top of Division Three after they comprehensively beat Capenhurst 95-5 at Mooragh Park. Elsewhere, It was a good day for Southern Nomads as both their teams won in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield.
