Dawe leaves hospital after injury

Dawe still plays National One rugby at the age of 49

Plymouth Albion chairman of rugby Graham Dawe has been released from hospital after he was injured in Saturday's 17-6 defeat against Leeds.

The 49-year-old came on as a second-half substitute and was hurt in a tackle with Mike MacDonald.

Dawe was then stretchered off before being taken to hospital.

Early fears of a broken neck proved unfounded, with doctors suspecting that the ex-England hooker has suffered a compression injury.
