Mounts Bay completed the formalities of relegation from National Two with a disappointing home defeat by Tynedale.
Despite leading 7-5 at the break, Bay were left wanting in the second half as Tynedale ran in four tries.
Centre Jack Harrison helped himself to a hat-trick, with wing Charlie Ingham and flanker Matthew Fieldhouse putting the visitors in control.
Bay then threw everything at Tynedale but only had a Sam Roberts try to show for their efforts.
Mounts Bay head coach Adrian Bick told BBC Radio Cornwall:
"At times this season we probably just weren't good enough, and the quality just wasn't there.
"Nothing would give me more pleasure than to stay here next year and try and pull Mounts Bay out of what's perceived as a nose-dive at the moment.
"We'll consolidate and re-group in National Three next season and I'm confident that we'll have a competitive side here, we'll get the crowds back in and have some local interest."
