Davey has been in charge of the Pirates since February |
Doncaster Knights have appointed acting Cornish Pirates coach Brett Davey as their new assistant for next season. Earlier in the week it was announced that Davey will be leaving the National One Pirates at the end of the season. The 36-year-old Welshman will assist Lynn Howells next season in the Knights' Championship campaign. Davey, who has been in charge of Pirates since Mark Hewitt left in February, will take charge of them for the last time against London Welsh. The Pirates have still not released the names of the new coaching team for the 2009/10 season.
