Cornish Pirates fell to defeat by Doncaster at the Rec on Sunday, despite outscoring their opponents by three tries to two. Marika Vakacegu, Nicky Griffiths and Heino Senekal all crossed for the Pirates but it was not enough. The game was a bruising encounter with both sides having a player sent off, Matt Evans for the Pirates and Adam Kettle for Doncaster. Full-back Jamie Lennard top scored for the Knights with 15 points.
