Cornish Pirates damaged Plymouth Albion's hopes of avoiding relegation from National One as they beat their south west rivals 30-14 on Sunday. Albion went ahead on four minutes through skipper Arthur Brenton's try, Ross Laidlaw converted. Pirates quickly responded with fly-half Rhys Jones eventually helping himself to 20 points. Albion's only second-half points came from a penalty try which was converted by replacement Alex Davies.
