Southern Nomads Rugby Club top both the Shimmin Wilson Manx Trophy and Manx Bowl tables after their first and second teams won on Saturday.

Nomads defeated Ramsey B 28-5 at Mooragh Park to go top of the Manx Trophy Standings.

The southern side led 14-0 at half-time through tries from Ross McCulloch and Al Corrin, both converted by Corrin.

Ramsey hit back with a try from club Chairman Billy Kneale but two late scores sealed the game for Nomads.

Meanwhile, Emerging Nomads recorded their first win of the season with a 16-10 win over Castletown at Poulsom Park.
