Kendal were beaten 24-5 by Harrogate in difficult conditions in National League Three North on Saturday. The game exploded into life in the second half after a scoreless opening period, with Harrogate notching three tries without reply. Mint Bridge full-back Zane Butler did manage a consolation to bring the scores to 17-5, before Jimmy Browne increased the hosts' advantage. Defeat means Kendal lie ninth in the table with 38 points from 16 games.
