Kendal ended a run of two defeats with Saturday's 21-11 win against a dogged Halifax side in National League Three. The visitors were two points down at the break despite a converted try from wing Lewis Boyd with full-back Zane Butler sent to the sin-bin. Craig Wilson bundled over early in the second half to restore Kendal's lead, while Halifax kicked a penalty to keep themselves in the game. However a Gareth Gore try settled the game and earned Kendal three points.
