Leyton Orient cruised to a fourth win in six games under new manager Geraint Williams as they outplayed Carlisle.
Orient goalkeeper Jamie Jones twice made fine saves early on but the hosts then took control and Charlie Daniels lashed in the opener from 12 yards.
Jimmy Smith set up Scott McLeish to side-foot home a second from close range, before Simon Church tucked home the third with a clinical finish.
Scott Dobie cracked in a consolation on 78 minutes but it was not enough.
