Redruth could not get the better of the Launceston defence on Saturday |
Redruth head coach Nigel Hambly has said his side were second best as they lost the Cornish derby to Launceston 19-8 on Saturday at Polson Bridge. "I'm not going to sit here and make any excuses today, we were beaten by the better team," Hambly told BBC Cornwall. "Launceston 'out-wanted' us, they did a real number on our lineout, although I thought we had the edge in the scrums. "But around the field their game management was excellent so no I've got no complaints," he concluded.
