Hambly felt Wharfedale deserved to come away from the Rec with a win |
Redruth head coach Nigel Hambly says his side took Saturday's opponents Wharfedale too lightly and paid the price as they went down 15-14 at home. It was the second straight game that the National Two leaders have not won, having drawn with Blaydon last week. "You've got to take your hat off to Wharfedale, they came down and believed in themselves," he said. "We just did not turn up on the day. We took them a bit lightly," Hambly added on BBC Radio Cornwall. "I thought they deserved the game. Perhaps if we had won it would have been a bit of a travesty," he added.
