Plymouth Albion's National Trophy campaign came to an abrupt end as they lost 21-3 to Doncaster at Castle Park. Despite dominating possession in the first period, Albion finished the half level on points at 3-3. With the wind behind them, the Knights let loose in the second half with flanker Simon Grainger going over in the corner shortly after the restart. Two penalties from fly-half Jamie Lennard and a try from centre Stephen McColl took the tie away from Albion.
