Plymouth Albion clinched a tense victory at Brickfields when they pipped Nottingham at the death. They took the game with a penalty from fly-half Kieran Hallett in the eighth minute of added time after Nottingham were leading 25-23. Albion had earlier led 20-10 at half-time after tries from full-back Geoff Griffiths and Hallett. Ex-Albion forward Nic Rouse, back David Jackson and hooker Joe Duffey scored for the third-placed side.
