Plymouth Albion claimed a deserved 7-6 National One victory over a determined Coventry side in the mud and fog at the Butts Park Arena.

Albion prop Ryan Hopkins scored the only try from a series of rolling mauls, after Miles Dorrian put Coventry ahead with a penalty kick.

Dorrian reduced the arrears with another penalty after the break.

Albion played out nine minutes of stoppage time, keeping Coventry at arms length to go up to sixth in the table.
