Bees' fine form faces Trophy test

Birmingham & Solihull Bees

Birmingham & Solihull face another stiff challenge when they travel to Launceston in round four of the EDF Energy National Trophy on Saturday.

It is another all-National Two affair for the Bees, who previously beat the division's leaders Redruth 31-8 in round three.

Launceston will be looking for revenge after losing 23-19 on their league visit to the Bees back in October.

The Cornish club are fifth in the table, three places below the visitors.

The only previous meeting between to two sides at Polsons Bridge resulted in a 24-15 victory for Launceston, and they have made the ground something of a fortress this season.

Only Mounts Bay have escaped with the league points this season after a narrow 8-6 success in October.

Birmingham & Solihull go into Saturday's game as the in-form team, however, having lost only one of their last nine matches in all competitions.
