Jersey consolidated their top three spot in London One with a convincing 40-20 win at Portsmouth on Saturday. Jersey scored three first-half tries from Nathan Kemp, winger Ed Dawson and Sam Tuia to lead 22-8 at the half time. Tuia and Mark Le Bourgeois added further tries after the break, while Mitch Burton kicked three conversions and three penalties. Jersey coach Ben Harvey said: "A truly great team performance by every single player. It was absolutely superb." Jersey are now seven points behind leaders Shelford and three points off second-placed Barnes at the halfway stage of the season.
