Nathan Williams' try gave Moseley a half-time advantage at Bedford |
Moseley were denied an impressive victory at Bedford by a last-gasp try from the home side at Goldington Road. Rory McKay's score was converted by James Pritchard to enable the Blues to outlast their opponents 17-15. Moseley had been ahead 8-0 at half time thanks to a try from prop Nathan Williams and an Ollie Thomas penalty. Winger Nathan Bressington crossed after the break to keep the visitors in front, but for the fifth time this season they were beaten late on. The result leaves Moseley one position above the relegation places in National League One, but they will be confident of returning to winning ways next weekend when they host rock-bottom side Manchester.
