Thomas leaves Pirates for Moseley

Cornish Pirates

Cornish Pirates fly-half Ollie Thomas is to see out the rest of his contract on loan at former club Moseley.

The 25-year-old joined the Pirates at the start of last season, having been Moseley's record points scorer after rising through the ranks at the club.

Thomas has found his opportunities limited at the Pirates after suffering an injury and loss of form.

"Such a loan agreement at this time makes sense," said Cornish Pirates chief executive Rod Coward.

He added: "We wish Ollie well and feel that he will certainly derive benefit from hopefully playing regular rugby once more."
