Ally Muldowney's first senior hat-trick spurred Moseley to victory |
A hat-trick of tries from Ally Muldowney eased Moseley to a 44-17 National League 1 win at Sedgley Park. The second-row forward crossed for the first time in the opening minute as the visitors stormed into a 22-0 lead within a quarter of an hour. The Sedgley Tigers closed the gap to five points by the interval only for Adam Caves to stretch Moseley's advantage after the break. Jack Adams (two) and Henry Trinder were the other try scorers for Mose. The second successive victory consolidates the West Midlanders mid-table position ahead of this month's tough run of fixtures. Ambitious Doncaster come to Billesley Common this Saturday, before Moseley travel to unbeaten leaders Leeds and then go to Bedford.
