Results not yet worrying Sullivan

Birmingham co-owner David Sullivan
Sullivan is still confident of Blues returning to the Premier League

Birmingham co-owner David Sullivan insists there is no need for anyone at the club to panic over recent results.

Blues have taken just one point from the last available nine and have lost their place on top of the Championship.

"It's not a time to start thinking that our season is in crisis," Sullivan told the Birmingham Mail.

"I said at the start of the campaign that there would be ups and downs but that we would get promotion - and I still believe so."

Blues have not won since beating Sheffield Wednesday near the end of October and could only draw at struggling Nottingham Forest last Saturday.

But Sullivan is keeping a sense of perspective on the club's position.

"We shouldn't be judging on these last three or four games. We're not where we'd like to be but we're still second in the table," he added.

Sullivan also added that they are working on trying to strengthen the squad at St Andrew's in a bid to arrest their slump in form.

"We are still looking at loans and we've got a couple of weeks left. We're due to get some injured players back as well."
