Mounts Bay's run of four successive wins came to an end with a heavy defeat at Cinderford. The Gloucestershire side led 29-0 after only half an hour at Dockham Road, with four tries in quick succession. Fly-half Tim Stevenson scored twice, while Paul Knight, Chris McNeil, Dewi Scourfield and Dave Knight also crossed as Cinderford ran in six tries in all. Mounts Bay flanker Fraser Cliverd replied with two second-half tries for the Cornish visitors.
