National Two strugglers Mounts Bay may have seen their season turn around after beating Blackheath to secure their second win in a row.

Prop Tim Mathias touched down twice at Mennaye Field, as the Penzance side took early control.

Hooker Jamie Salter charged down a kick, to help the hosts race into a 28-3 advantage.

But they had to survive a late comeback from Blackheath, who scored three tries and 19 points in the last 12 minutes.
