Guernsey suffered a disappointing loss at home to Guildford on Saturday

Guernsey's hopes of getting back in the promotion race in London South West Division Three took a blow when they lost 15-12 to Guildford on Saturday.

The defeat at Footes Lane means Guernsey are now six points off second-placed London Cornish and have dropped to eighth in the table.

The loss was their second in a row at home and sees the islanders stay firmly stuck in mid-table.

Guernsey's next game is on Saturday, 29 November away to fourth-placed Bognor.
