Guernsey have have not won away from Footes Lane so far this season |
Guernsey captain Simon Sharrott has said the London South West Division Three side are going to address their poor away form in the next two weeks. The island side have lost all their away games so far this season, but now have a weekend off. "We're going to have a chat with the boys and see if we can do anything differently on away days," the prop told BBC Guernsey. The side have won both their home games in the league this season. And Sharrott feels that his men are close to getting the breakthrough away from home. "We're not that far off to be honest. We should have won against London South Africa two weeks ago. "The boys are starting to build up their confidence, and especially with a home win last Saturday we can use that as a springboard to our next league match which is away to London Irish Amateurs." Amateurs are bottom of the table and have won only one match so far this season.
