Mounts Bay lost their first match in National League Two 14-7 after a 1,000-mile round trip to face Tynedale. The home side took the lead after 23 minutes when winger Peter Cole got on the end of a loose ball to score a try which was converted by Rob Miller. Miller scored gave Tynedale a 14-0 lead after scoring a try after 53 minutes after capitalising on a Bay slip.
