The ACT Brumbies moved back to the top of the Super 12 table with a 33-15 victory over the Western Stormers. Joe Roff, Mark Chisholm, Clyde Rathbone and George Smith all crossed for Brumbies tries at Newlands.
Roff also kicked three penalties and two conversions for the visitors to put them one point clear of the Blue Bulls and leave the Stormers fourth.
Gaffie du Toit, Marius Joubert and Tonderai Chavhanga scored unconverted tries for the Stormers.
The Otago Highlanders kept the Golden Cats on the bottom of the table with a 29-17 victory in Dunedin.
Second-half tries from Nick Evans and Craig Newby sealed the win and gave the Highlanders a bonus point.
The home side led 15-0 early on after tries from Seilala Mapusua and Anton Oliver and two successful Evans kicks.
But they were forced to battle back after Andre Pretorius kicked a penalty and converted scores from Enrico Januarie and Jaque Fourie.

James slotted three penalties and a conversion from seven attempts for the South Africans to settle a tight match.
