Shaun Ainscough has played for three different clubs this season |
Wigan's Shaun Ainscough has been charged with a grade C offence following a fight during his side's Valvoline Cup match against Warrington. If found guilty, the winger could face a ban of two to three matches. Ainscough, 20, was on loan at Castleford to the end of the season before an injury crisis at Wigan saw his recall at the end of April. He is currently on loan to Widnes where he scored four tries in three games during a spell earlier in the year. Warrington's Craig Harvey has received a grade B charge, which could mean a one to two-match ban, for the same incident. Wigan second row Jack Hughes has been charged with running in and punching an off-guard opponent. The offence is grade F, which carries an eight-match ban if the player is found guilty. Warrington prop Jamie Peasnell has been charged with a Grade D offence of running in and punching which could lead to a three to five-match ban. Warrington Wolves won the cup encounter 30-22, although Ainscough scored two tries for Wigan.
