Paul Clough tells Saints not to be awed by Warrington
Clough made his 100th appearance for Saints against Crusaders last week
St Helens back row forward Paul Clough says his side must approach Friday's game with Warrington with the right attitude if they want victory.
Wolves have won five of their first six games and are joint top of Super League with Wigan.
"We can't afford to respect them too much and stand there in awe of them," Clough told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"We have just got to play our own game and try and exploit their weakness, which every team has."
"They've been playing really well at the moment," he added. "Tony Smith has got them well drilled over there. I think it's five out of six, the first time they have done that for I don't know how long.
"But St Helens have weaknesses and teams right down to the bottom of the league have weaknesses.
"We must exploit their weaknesses and hold their strengths back to the best of our ability, and it would give us a good chance of getting a result."
Last week's 37-30 win over the Crusaders was a career milestone for Clough, as he made his 100th appearance for Saints at the age of 22.
"At one stage of my career I didn't think I'd get one game at Saints never mind 100," Clough said.
"I've been lucky with injuries and I've been playing well enough to be selected. It's a great honour and a great achievement.
