Salford City Reds captain Mal Alker has described the 30-20 win at champions Leeds as a "massive" result. A third successive victory - including Challenge Cup success at Hull - underlined the Reds' change in form in the past 10 days. Alker told BBC Radio Manchester: "It's massive for the product we're trying to sell down at Salford and the belief in the things that we're trying to do. "It gives us confidence, obviously, but we've not made it yet." He added: "Beating Leeds at Headingley is a massive thing for us as a club but we still know we've got a long road to go down. We just want to cement our place now where we are and build on it. "We're under no illusions about how hard it's going to be next week at Catalans, but again we've got to go there and play for 80 minutes and put a good performance up."
