Hull KR's Jake Webster says he owes club a big season
Webster is out of contract at the end of the season
Hull KR centre Jake Webster has said he owes his club and himself a big year after two seasons of injury problems.
"I'm probably the fittest I've been for a long time and hopefully it all comes together and 2011 will be a good year," he told BBC Radio Humberside.
"I think I let myself and the team down last year and the year before."
The 27-year-old former New Zealand international, out of contract at the end of the season, had surgery in July to cure a long-standing hip injury.
He faces real competition for his first-team place from close-season signing Craig Hall.
Webster, who signed from Australian side Gold Coast Titans in August 2007, featured prominently in the 40-6 friendly win over Salford at the weekend, providing assists for two of Peter Fox's three tries.
