Hull Kingston Rovers forward Clint Newton says he has been impressed by additions of Willie Mason, Craig Hall and Blake Green for the 2011 season.
"I'm looking to playing with someone [Mason] that grew up in my neighbourhood and I'm sure he'll be very good," he told BBC Humberside.
"Craig Hall has got plenty of ability and he's a natural try-scorer and he's got pace.
"Blake's already shown the past couple of weeks he's got plenty to offer."
He added: "I think he'll take plenty of pressure off Dobbo [Michael Dobson] and do really, really well."
Meanwhile, Newton revealed that he will be fit for the start of the season after having a small piece of floating bone removed from his elbow last week.
"It's been a bit disruptive," he added. "But come round one I know I'll be ready to go."
