Netherton suffered a dislocated shoulder last year |
Hull Kingston Rovers second rower Jason Netherton is a doubt for Sunday's home game with the Bradford Bulls. Netherton, 26, aggravated a long-term shoulder injury in the weekend defeat by Catalans Dragons in Perpignan. "It's the shoulder he's had so much trouble with in the last few years," Robins coach Justin Morgan told BBC Radio Humberside. "We're very hopeful that it was just movement, it certainly didn't come out of the joint." Netherton, who is out of contract with the Robins at the end of the current season, underwent surgery on the shoulder last year and Morgan said players often experience some discomfort as a result of the operation. "Sometimes when you're operated on and they put it back in, they put it in nice and tight and a little bit of movement can send shivers down the spine," he added. "We'll get it scanned and fingers crossed that it's not too serious."
