Clint Newton had missed the last two games with his knee injury |
Hull KR forward Clint Newton has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury. The 27-year-old picked up the injury in the 26-18 loss to Wakefield last month. "I had hoped he could play some part for us between now and the end of the season but it's not to be," coach Justin Morgan told the Hull Daily Mail. "But the good news is that he'll be fit for the pre-season. I've not cried about injuries this season and I'm not going to start now." Centre Chev Walker and stand-off Scott Murrell are already injured for the rest of the season and full-back Ben Cockayne could join them following consultation with a specialist over his knee injury.
