Horne missed a large part of last season through injury |
Hull FC will give half-back Richard Horne more time before deciding if he is fit enough to play in the first game of the season against Hull KR. Horne, 28, is recovering from knee surgery in the close season and is a doubt for the game on 13 February. "We're happy with how he's moved on and his leg is getting stronger," coach Richard Agar told BBC Radio Humberside. "If it was a cup final, there's no doubt he'd be playing. But we're very mindful it's just round number one." Horne missed a large part of last season with knee and groin injuries that prevented him from striking up a regular partnership with scrum-half Sean Long.
