Hull FC stand-off Richard Horne suffers injury blow

Hull FC stand-off Richard Horne is set for an eight-week lay-off after suffering a knee injury in the 28-5 defeat by Harlequins at Murrayfield.

Forwards Willie Manu and Epalahame Lauaki are also out, for around five weeks, with elbow and calf injuries suffered in the same game.

"Richard will be resting up, he doesn't need an operation," Hull coach Richard Agar said.

"They are sizeable losses to a squad that was already fairly injury hit."

Meanwhile Hull trio Sean Long, Craig Fitzgibbon and Danny Tickle are all available for this weekend's trip to Catalans Dragons.

"Certainly their experience and the direction they will give will help us," Agar added.
