Hull FC youngster Danny Nicklas has been ruled out for the season while stand-off Richard Horne will miss the next two games.

Nicklas, 18, has suffered a medial knee ligament injury and scans have revealed Horne, 28, suffered a groin tear prior to the win over Harlequins.

Coach Richard Agar told BBC Radio Humberside: "Richard did it in kicking practice but should be back for Leeds.

"Danny has had a scan on his knee and is expected to miss the season."

Nicklas recently signed his first professional deal with the club and has made three first-team appearances, including the last two games against Wigan and Harlequins.

Meanwhile, Horne has only just returned to action after missing two months with a knee injury.

The Black and Whites are hoping to seal a top four finish in the end-of-season play-offs in Super League.
