Hull FC prop Peter Cusack is set to miss the rest of the season after undergoing wrist reconstruction. The 32-year-old Australian dislocated his wrist during Saturday's 18-16 defeat by Warrington and is likely to be out for three-to-four months. The news is further blow to Hull who lost forward Danny Washbrook with a knee ligament injury in the same game. The 22-year-old loose-forward is set to find out on Friday the full extent of the injury. England and GB centre Kirk Yeaman is also nursing a head injury. | 606: DEBATE |
"It is a real blow for us, especially as Peter is such a consistent performer for us," said Hull coach Richard Agar. Meanwhile, Hull FC are hoping to have Gareth Raynor and Motu Tony back for the trip to Leeds next Tuesday night in the Super League. Both have yet to play this season. GB international winger Raynor last played in the Challenge Cup Final defeat by St Helens at Wembley last August and has undergone two operations to cure a big toe problem. New Zealand international Tony has had surgery twice to get to the bottom of a knee injury that has dogged him for the last year.
