Webster is ready for his debut against his former club |
Hull FC debutant James Webster is relishing the chance to face his former club Hull Kingston Rovers. Webster started the season as a Hull KR player but when injury forced him out of the club he was snapped up by the Robins' local rivals. Webster told BBC Look North: "It'll be good to go back to Craven Park, I haven't been there for a while." The Australian has not been able to play for the last six weeks because he has been awaiting British citizenship. | It's frustrating that the only thing stopping me was a piece of paper

That was granted and he will play for Hull FC as a British player and not count against their overseas quota. "I've been raring to go for the last six weeks," he added. "It's frustrating that the only thing stopping me was a piece of paper. His former coach Justin Morgan was ready to welcome him back at the weekend. He told BBC Look North: "He was a big part of our club for a lot of years. "One of the reasons the club is where it is now is because of him." The Hull FC coach Richard Agar is expected to name him in the starting 13 as so many of his team are still suffering from the effects of last Saturday's Challenge Cup final. He said: "I'm sure he'll get a terrific reception but for us he gives a little bit of what we need in the middle."
