Richard Horne made his debut for Hull FC at 16 years old |
Hull FC stand-off Richard Horne is on the brink of signing a new two-year contract with the club. The 26-year-old is out of contract in November but has agreed new terms in principal, according to his agent. David Howes told BBC Radio Humberside: "We met last Friday and we've been promised the paperwork to scrutinise. "It's only been a matter of sitting down round the table and making sure that Richard is actually fully fit for the future and he is." Horne, who missed a large part of the current season with a serious neck injury, will complete 10 years' service with the Black and Whites next year. That means he will be eligible for a benefit season and that is expected to be part of the new contract. Howes added: "I think you'll find the announcement from the club will be all inclusive. We're looking forward to that announcement coming from Hull FC in the next week or so."
