Brown is in his first season at Huddersfield |
Huddersfield Giants head coach Nathan Brown has demanded his team regain their hard-working ethic again. The Giants have slipped to fourth in Super League after losing their last two matches, the latest at Warrington. "We were sitting second on the ladder because we worked really hard for each other, but we've stopped that," Brown told BBC Radio Leeds. "Some teams can have a day off here and there and still get by but we are not that kind of team." The West Yorkshire side had moved to second and just two points behind leads St Helens thanks to a six game winning run. But a home defeat to Leeds Rhinos and now their first away loss of the season has seem them slip back slightly. Brown added: "We didn't look interested against Warrington and it was very weak how we played. "I think we have started to get too confident and ahead of themselves. "We have won a lot of praise this season, which is great, and the guys earned the right for that after the effort they put in. "But I think some of the players have forgotten how they earned that praise and got to second and they have to start putting the effort back in."
