Hudson has scored three tries for Castleford this season

Castleford Tigers skipper Ryan Hudson has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken arm.

The 29-year-old hooker injured his back during the Super League match against Wigan on 23 August and the pain in the arm was seen as a minor injury.

However, a precautionary check on the former England 'A' hooker's arm revealed it was broken.

The Tigers are through to the Super League play-offs after defeating Harlequins 48-0 on Sunday.
