McNamara has guided Bradford to the play-offs in the last two seasons
Bradford Bulls head coach Steve McNamara has told his side they must use their win at St Helens as a springboard to move up the table.
The Bulls are now third-from-bottom after a shock 34-30 win at the leaders, only their third of the season.
"To come away to St Helens and do what we've done is a fantastic effort," McNamara told BBC Radio Leeds.
"Now we have to ensure it is the start of may more performances like that and wins to come."
The Bulls have now won three, drawn one and lost eight in Super League XIV and are also out of the Challenge Cup.
However they have now beaten Leeds Rhinos at Odsal and St Helens at Knowsley Road.
"Credit to the players to show the character and belief to win this one," McNamara added. "To bounce back from the defeat at Warrington in such style is great."
"The players worked hard in training to put things right and it paid off clearly.
"The players basically did their jobs at Saints now they have to go back out there next weekend and do those jobs again."
