Obst is in his fifth season at Wakefield |
Wakefield Trinity Wildcats hope to have Sam Obst available for their Magic Weekend clash with Bradford Bulls on Saturday at Murrayfield. The 28-year-old hooker suffered concussion in Sunday's 40-26 defeat to Wigan at Belle Vue. "We were advised not to continue to play Sam so that's why he didn't play in the second half," head coach John Kear told BBC Radio Leeds. "We are confident he will be OK to face Bradford, but we will monitor him." The Wildcats had won four on the trot before their loss at improving Wigan. Kear added: "It's a big weekend coming up and we need to bounce back and the Bulls will be up for it. "We have a lot to work on and improve this week. "In fact we don't have enough time to work on all the areas for improvement identified from this defeat."
