Obst is hoping to be fit again by April |
Wakefield Trinity Wildcats half-back Sam Obst will be out for at least six weeks after breaking his wrist. Obst suffered the injury during the Wildcats' fine win over reigning Super League champions St Helens on Sunday.
The Australian, who scored a try in Wakefield's season-opening loss to Hull KR, had an operation on Tuesday.
Wildcats coach John Kear told BBC Radio Leeds: "These things are sent to test us, but what it will be is a great opportunity for someone to step up."
