Gateshead Thunder have signed winger Craig Olugbode, centre Andy Morris and second row David Norman to their roster for the 2011 Championship One season. All three players are from the North East's amateur ranks; Olugbode from Sunderland ARLFC, Morris from Gateshead Storm and Norman from Jarrow Vikings. "These three players have shown real potential and a desire," said Thunder director of rugby Chris Hood. "I'd like to thank everyone for their hard work, and their support." Hood added: "This is further good news and more progression in our commitment to help develop local talent."
